Cookies
Rewatch sets one cookie, and only when you sign in. There are no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, so there is no banner to click away.
The sign-in cookie
When you log in, Rewatch sets __Host-rewatch_session. It holds a random token that identifies your session, nothing about you. It is HttpOnly (scripts cannot read it), Secure and bound to this site only. It lasts as long as the session: up to 30 days without use and 180 days in all, and it is removed when you sign out. Without it you could not stay signed in, so it needs no consent.
Your light or dark choice
If you choose a theme with the sun and moon button, your browser remembers it in its local storage under rewatch-theme. It never leaves your device.
From our network provider
Cloudflare, which protects and delivers the site, may set strictly necessary security cookies to tell people from automated abuse. They are not used for advertising.
